Buyers- do your homework before going here. Know your trade in value! They will try to rip you off majorly on your trade in. As a person who has bought and traded many cars, this was by far the worst dealership I have went to. I'm not even talking about the horrible parking situation or the unfriendly welcome when we walked in. Feeling like we were burdening the gentleman that we were specifically told to ask for. (I won't drop names because he could have been having an off night). The only reason we came here was because our local dealerships didn't have an EX model that we wanted and this was the closest dealer that had it. We took the drive and they looked at our car and offered us 10k for it. Hours after we were told the trade in value was 20k at another dealership. We lost all faith in this dealership after that. Luckily, we were in no rush to buy and our original dealer got an an EX model and gave us the 20K trade in value. The salesman we worked with was very polite (Won't name him either) but then called and acted like he was going to work on our behalf to get us a better number. We never did hear from him again haha. Which was fine because after the initial meeting, how can you trust a dealership who would rip you off by 10k? So just a lesson to everyone. Go on Kelly Blue Book first. Get an estimate of how much your car is worth so you know the ballpark. Get other trade in numbers and whatever you do, don't settle for the number this dealership gives you.

I was recently looking to purchase a used vehicle and because I had purchased from Kia of Wilmington in the past I decided to stick with them. I bought a 2020 Telluride and quickly found out service made a pretty big error when getting the car ready for sale that luckily didn’t end as badly as it could. When I brought it to their attention it wasn’t taken as seriously as it should have been and I almost had to beg to get a call from someone. They tried to deny it was their fault and downplay the seriousness of what happened. I was extremely unhappy and ready to bad mouth the dealership and be done with them until Michael Kane stepped in. He went above and beyond to fix the situation and did everything he could to make me feel heard and comfortable with the outcome. He made no excuses! Him and Curtis Hutson got me into another car and I couldn’t be happier with the level of service they provided! Also, the man who handled the paperwork (I believe his name was Josh) was great too. Also, Jared and Jamie! Super friendly! Thanks to them I will continue to be a customer of Kia of Wilmington/Auto Team Delaware.
